NOUILLES ETIRANTES (Stretchy Pasta)

NOTE: Recipe is for 2 people, and are only APPROXIMATE amounts - Use your own judgment.

 

Precook (by boiling) your favorite pasta.

 

Once cooked, rinse and leave to drain, in a colander.

 

Turn heat down - between "med." and "low".

 

Add to your same pot:

Approx. 1/2 of a medium sized can of Tomato Juice.

Approx. 2 tbsp. of butter.

 

Let this mixture heat up, until the butter has melted.

 

Then, add your pre-cooked pasta,

along with several cubes (1/2") of cheese - Total: approx 1 cup of cheese.

Cheese can be cheddar, mozzarella, havarti - use your imagination.

 

Stir until cheese has begun to melt somewhat.

Once again, this depends on whether you want "chunks" of cheese

with your pasta, or a "creamier" type of pasta.

 

Suggestions: Add salt and pepper, to taste.

                      You can also add 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon, for a different taste.
