1/4 cup of butter
1 cup of white sugar
1-1/2 cup of diced dates
2 (unbeaten) eggs
1 pinch of salt

2 cups of Rice Krispies

Coconut to roll "balls"

 

Mix first 5 ingredients and cook over the stove, in a big frying pan, for 7 minutes - continually stirring.

Remove from the stove and add the Rice Krispies. Let cool and roll into 1 inch balls and roll into the coconut.

NOTE: young children love to make these!
