Seasonings: Salt and Pepper
Mix flour and seasonings together. Rub or roll meat with the flour mixture. Brown in a frying pan, with butter and onions.

a (oven-proof) casserole dish, add:
cook for aprox. 2 hours (slowly). Check your "liquids"
from time to time. Add water, if mixture begins to dry up.
Just before serving, add:
1 pint of cream
with hot rolls, or a French Baquette and a glass of red wine.
