3 BEAN SALAD

(from the 1970's)
 
 
18 oz cooked, drained red kidney beans
(or a can of red kidney beans WELL RINSED)
 
1 cup cooked wax beans
(or a can of wax beans, well drained)
 
1 cup cooked green beans
(or a can of green beans, well drained)
 
2 oz. chopped onions or chives
 
1/4 cup + 1 TBLSP of white vinegar
 
1 TBLSP chopped fresh or dried parsley
 
2 tsp. sugar
 
1/2 tsp oregano
 
1/4 tsp garlic powder
 
 
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.  Usually tastes much better in a day or two.
