I’ve recently been appointed on the “Media” committee, with the Marco Polo Quilt Guild and I know some of you are already members of the Marco Polo Quilt Guild or the Kennebecasis Valley Quilt Guild but for those of you that aren’t a guild member, please come out and join our fun.

NOTE:  The Marco Polo Quilt Guild will be starting up a “Beginners” workshop, this fall.  This is a great opportunity to tell your friend.  You know, the one that says, “I have a sewing machine, here. I’ve always wanted to learn to make quilts. I wish I could make quilts like you.”   Well, here’s their chance!

Anyhow, here’s the info that I’ve been sending out to our local media:

The Marco Polo Quilting Guild (MPQG) welcomes all those interested in quilting, whether they are beginners or experienced quilters. The Guild will be presenting “Beginners” workshops this fall, as well as various other workshops throughout the year.

Join us at St. Columba Church, 1454 Manawagonish Rd., Saint John, on the first Wednesday of every month (7 to 9 pm) and every Thursday morning (10 am to 2 pm). Bring a friend, enjoy the programs, take a workshop and learn a most enjoyable, relaxing and time-honoured skill.
