We now have a bolt of (good quality) muslin, in stock as well as a few pieces of print “bed” sheets and some nice 100% (print) cotton fabrics, for your “backing”. If you require any of these for your backings, give us a call.
If you happen to have a printed panel for place mats, for example, we suggest that you leave your panel “intact”. In other words, don’t pre-cut it. Leave your back “intact”, as well. Gilbert can quilt it all in one piece and the costs would certainly be reduced. And once you get home, you just need to cut your “intact” panel into the required place mat size.
A 4 place mat panel, left “intact” and done in meandering, for example, would probably be minimum charge and would make a lovely Christmas gift, too!
Israel Quilting Video…. Lovely Eye-Candy!!!
Here’s yet another block on my “Quilting Bucket List” - A variation of the Disappearing Block:
Get your yarn/fibres gathered up as well as a few other items and I’m guessing that you’ll have a very unique scarf!
Found this link via a friend’s FaceBook page.
Send a copy of this link to your hubby or children or Best Friend, if they’re wondering what to get you for Christmas. Prices were reasonable, I thought, for all the work involved!
I just LOVE watching the videos on the Missouri Quilting Co.
I’m now putting together a lap quilt from the “Amazing Jelly Roll Quilt Pattern by 3 Dudes” video:
And one last item!!!
Bonnie Hunter has started her yearly Mystery Quilt, on her blog. She’s listed the fabric requirements and will post the 1st step on the 23rd of November. PLUS, she’s called this one “Easy Street” as its supposed to be easier than her last 2 Mystery Quilts. So, if you’ve ever been tempted to start a Mystery Quilt, I would suggest you jump in. I did last year’s Mystery Quilt that she named “Orca Bay” and I just LOVE IT!!! Can’t wait to start this one up, on the 23rd!!!
Here’s her main blog addy:
Every now and then, she’s on her webcam and she talks to you and answers email questions, while quilting. Quilty fun!!!
And here’s the direct link to the fabric requirements for her new, upcoming Mystery Quilt – “Easy Street”.
Have a Great November! Remember, if you have any questions, we’re only a phone call away!
