While there seems to be a lot of Strawberry Suppers and such, going on during the month of July, I came across one, in the WesTide magazine, that I think might be worth attending:
Annual Strawberry Supper
The Friendly Quilters are sponsoring a Strawberry Supper at the James H. Williams Community Hall Inc, Crystal Beach on Saturday, July 14th from 4h30 – 6h30 p.m. The cost for the salad plate and strawberry shortcake supper is $10/adults, $5/children 5 -12 years and pre-schoolers eat for free. Take-out will be available.
Incredibly beautiful, different cabins, lean-to’s, mini homes…. And most of them tell you where they’re located.

Have some of you gotten into the “Hexie” craze, yet?
Bonnie K. Hunter had a student bring in her quilt and Bonnie shot some pictures.
Oh my goodness!!! I’ll be getting Gilbert to cut up a hexie template… I see fussy-cut hexies in my near future! LOL
