Hi There!

Anyone traveling in the USA or Canada, this summer?  Looking for quilt shops?

I found this web site pretty interesting. Mind you, do your research.  Check before you head out as to whether they’re still open.  Also, I’m guessing that they’re not ALL listed on this site, either.  Research is very important!

I’m in New Brunswick, Canada.  If you click on New Brunswick, it doesn’t show any quilt shops and I KNOW there are quilt shops in my province!

Here’s the web link.  Hope this helps!

And another video on how to sew the 1st part of your binding.  This is exactly how I do mine ‘cept I cut the threads.  J

This technique can be used for virtually ANY even or odd shaped piece.  I once made a big sunflower for a table center piece using this technique!

As we all know, log cabin blocks can be arranged in many, many, ways.  I, myself, prefer the “Barn Raising” setting.  Anyhow, here’s an “Animated Log Cabin”.
